Plibrico has acquired US-based refractory service and materials supplier F.S. Sperry.
The acquisition joins F.S. Sperry’s regional expertise with Plibrico’s manufacturing, engineering, and technical resources.
Based in Illinois, USA, Plibrico supplies aluminosilicate and high-alumina monolithic refractories used in the processing of aluminium, steel, minerals, and other materials.

The acquisition will expand the company’s technical resources and enhance its organisational support.
It will enable it to continue to help high-temperature industrial operations solve complex refractory challenges, as well as improve equipment reliability, reduce unplanned downtime, and maximise long-term performance.
